In my artwork there is a continual interplay between reality and abstraction.  I am intrigued by the abstract qualities in landscape: sunset palettes, the tangle/texture of meadow and tree, or the shimmer of lake reflections.  Vice versa, in my abstract works, the shape, colour or texture may recall a landscape memory.
